Saturday's $250,000 Mother Goose Stakes (gr. I) at Belmont Park might be missing such notables names as You, Take Charge Lady, and Bella Bellucci, but the race isn't lacking a quality field.

Among those definite for the second leg of the Triple Tiara is Belterra, a 2 3/4-length allowance winner at Churchill Downs last out. Belterra worked five furlongs in :59 3/5 on Tuesday at Churchill Downs for trainer Carl Nafzger.

Also classified as definite is Dust Me Off, who defeated Belterra earlier in the year in the Bonnie Miss Stakes (gr. II) at Gulfstream Park. Dust Me Off is trained by Allen Jerkens, who won the Triple Tiara nine years ago with champion Sky Beauty. Dust Me Off worked seven furlongs in 1:25 3/5 Tuesday at Belmont.

Nonsuch Bay, who finished fourth in the Acorn Stakes (gr. I), also is likely for the Mother Goose. Nonsuch Bay won the May 11 Nassau County Breeders' Cup Stakes (gr. II).

Chamrousse, winner of the Black Eyed Susan Stakes (gr. II) is listed as a probable for the Mother Goose. The Niall O' Callaghan-trainee breezed a half-mile in :52 3/5 on Tuesday at Churchill.

Sheikh Mohammed's Jilbab, a recent 13 1/4-length allowance winner and Seba are also possible starters.
