While the racing world is awaiting Sadler's Well's landmark 200th stakes winner, another Coolmore stallion, Northern Dancer's son Night Shift, reached a milestone of his own. Night Shift, now 22 years old, came up with No. 70 when his son Baron's Pit won the June 20 Norfolk Stakes (Eng-III) at Royal Ascot. The colt's victory came four days after Night Shift's son, Moon Solitaire, won the King Edward Breeders' Cup Handicap (Can-II) at Woodbine. Night Shift, who was produced from the Chop Chop mare Ciboulette, has a total of five added-money winners this year.
