Just James Gives Noseda First Royal Ascot Win

Running back on just a few days rest, Just James won the Jersey Stakes (Eng-III) Wednesday during the Royal Ascot meeting.The 3-year-old colt by Spectrum ran fourth at York on June 15 in the William Hill Trophy, then four days later won the Jersey Stakes by a neck over Steenberg. Just James ran the seven furlongs in 1:27.19.Just James is owned by Lucayan Stud and trained by Jeremy Noseda. He was ridden by Olivier Peslier. It was the first win at Royal Ascot for Noseda.Just James (Spectrum--Fairy Flight, by Fairy King) has won two of five start, all in England.Meshaheer was third and Ho Choi fourth in the 15-horse field.
