Fasig-Tipton Expands NY-bred Sale to Two Days

Fasig-Tipton announced that its New York-breds sale held just after the Saratoga select sale will expand to two days. The auction will be held in Saratoga Springs, N.Y., on Aug. 11 and 12.

There will be 185 New York-bred yearlings catalogued to the sale, with sessions beginning each night at 7:30 p.m.

Last year, a record 141 were catalogued and 104 were sold for $4,541,000, an average of $43,663. The average was up 36.8% and the gross increased 10.3%. Another 33 yearlings were listed as not sold.
