Summer Racing Series Begins on CBS; Pick 3 Offered

In conjunction with the "NTRA Summer Racing Tour on CBS," the National Thoroughbred Association will offer a national Pick 3 on races selected races from the three tour broadcasts. The minimum wager will be $2, but $1 part wheels will be available.

The races and dates which coincide with the pick 3 are:
- June 15: Dallas Turf Cup at Lone Star Park, Hollywood Breeders' Cup Oaks (gr. II) at Hollywood Park, and Stephen Foster Handicap (gr. I) at Churchill Downs.
- June 29: Molly Pitcher Handicap (gr. II) at Monmouth Park, Mother Goose Stakes (gr. I) at Belmont Park, and the Arlington Classic (gr. IIT) at Arlington Park.
- July 6: United Nations Handicap (gr. IT) at Monmouth Park, Suburban Handicap (gr. II) at Belmont Park, and the Stars & Stripes Breeders' Cup Handicap (gr. IIIT) at Arlington Park.

The broadcasts of these races will each be one hour long and will air from 5-6 p.m. (EST) on the above dates. Other races will be included in the broadcasts. Among that group are the mid-June races at Ascot including : the June St. James's Palace Stakes (Eng-I), Queen Anne Stakes (Eng-II), and Prince of Wales Stakes (Eng-II), and the June 21 Coronation Stakes (Eng-I).

Hosting the NTRA Summer Racing Tour will be Dave Johnson. He will be joined by analysts Randy Moss and Caton Bredar and commentators Lesley Visser and Gary Seibel.
